The Zigoti – Sekanyonyi Piped Water Supply System project aimed to enhance water supply and sanitation facilities in the Zigoti and Sekanyonyi areas. The project included the following scope of works:

Zigoti Water Supply System:

• Laying of 6.6 km of transmission mains with an outer diameter (OD) of 75 HDPE PN16.
• Construction of two pumping stations, including pump houses, guard houses, and generator houses.
• Construction of a 150 m³ steel reservoir.
• Laying of 45 km of UPVC/HDPE pipes ranging from OD 160 mm to OD 32 mm.
• Construction of 10 public stand posts and 400 service connections.
• Construction of a water office and two water-borne public sanitation facilities with six stances each.
• Extension of grid power to the pumping stations.
• Construction of a 4.9 km unpaved access road.

Sekanyonyi Water Supply System:

• Laying of 5.5 km of transmission gravity mains with an OD of 75 HDPE PN16.
• Construction of two pumping stations, including pump houses, guard houses, and generator houses.
• Construction of a 200 m³ steel reservoir.
• Laying of 44 km of UPVC/HDPE pipes ranging from OD 160 mm to OD 32 mm.
• Construction of 10 public stand posts and 400 service connections.
• Construction of a water office and two water-borne public sanitation facilities with six stances each.
• Extension of grid power to the pumping stations.
• Construction of a 3.8 km unpaved access road.
