The Kiwoko-Butalangu project aimed to enhance the water supply and sanitation infrastructure in Nakaseke District, addressing the critical need for clean water and sanitation services in the area. The scope of work included:

• General items and day works.
• Construction of borehole pump stations at Kiwoko (2 units).
• Installation of borehole pumping mains.
• Construction of a chemical house.
• Development of a Kiwoko reservoir tank and associated site works.
• Establishment of a Kiwoko distribution network and service connections.
• Implementation of a Kiwoko intensification network and additional service connections.
• Construction of a guard and pump attendant house.
• Building of a Kiwoko water office block, including mechanical and electrical works.
• Provision of tools and equipment for Kiwoko operations.
• Construction of a 6 stance waterborne public toilet (1 unit).
• Development of an ecological sanitation toilet.
• Construction of access roads totaling 7 km in Kiwoko and Butalangu.
