his project aimed to establish a comprehensive water supply system for Buvuma Town. The scope of work included:

  • Construction of two pumping stations with borehole pumps connected to extended grid power lines.
  • Installation of a 100KVA standby generator housed in a generator house.
  • Construction of two guard houses (70 m² each).
  • Supply, installation, and laying of 4.6 km of transmission UPVC and GI pipes, including various diameters.
  • Laying of 12 km of UPVC/HDPE pipes.
  • Construction of a 120 m³ steel reservoir supported by concrete dwarf walls.
  • Installation of six public stand posts and 300 service connections.
  • Construction of an 84 m² water office.
  • Establishment of two public sanitation facilities with six stances (80 m²).
  • Construction of ten single stance household ecological sanitation toilets.
  • Construction of a 25 m² chemical house for chlorine generation, equipped with dosing equipment and solar-powered stabilizers.
